LYU SHAOHUA’S LARGE-SCALE LANDSCAPE PAINTING EXHIBITION
SHAANXI PROVINCIAL ART MUSEUM, XI’AN, SHAANXI PROVINCE, CHINA
OVERVIEW INSTALLATION
The Shaanxi Provincial Art Museum presents COMMEMORATION OF THE 70TH ANNIVERSARY OF MAO ZEDONG’S YAN’AN TALKS ON LITERATURE AND ART & LYU SHAOHUA’S LARGE-SCALE LANDSCAPE PAINTING EXHIBITION.
The exhibition celebrates both a historic milestone in Chinese cultural history and the artistic achievements of Lyu Shaohua, a distinguished painter renowned for his monumental landscape compositions. Featuring a comprehensive selection of Lyu’s major works, the exhibition reflects his lifelong pursuit of harmony between form, spirit, and the vitality of traditional Chinese painting. His brushwork—grand in scale yet subtle in expression—embodies the poetic resonance and ideological depth that have defined Chinese landscape art for centuries.
Jointly organized by the Shaanxi Artists Association and the Shaanxi Chinese Painting Academy, the exhibition opened at SHAANXI PROVINCIAL ART MUSEUM, XI’AN, SHAANXI PROVINCE, CHINA on June 24, 2012.
